The Rowlatt Act was composed in the following manners :

1.Rallies were organised in the various cities.

2.workers went on strikes in railway workshops.

3.shops were closed down.

It was in the opposition of the rowlatt act that the in famous Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place.General Dyer ordered his troops to open fire on the innocent Civilians who had gathered from the city of Amritsar and other outer side to attend a peaceful meeting.
