rowlatt act was an act which is hurriedly passed through imperial legislative council many Indian opposed this act but not storng opposed,this act gave the British government biggest power for supress the polliticle activities ,according to this act any political parties could be detained in the prison without trial for 2years and no body can do for saving the prisoners also the prisoners not can do on her defence

under this act Britishers can prison any indian for 5years......

It is a act that gave the govt enormous power to repress political activities & this act was passed in 1919.
Advantage:-
All non official indian ember of council can voted against the act.
This act allowed certain political cases to be tried without juries.
Their based on the report of Justice.
