A democratic constitution is one where the state is secular and the govt. is elected by people . A secular state allows individuals the freedom to live by their religious beliefs and practices. India , our country, is a secular state. It is a land where many different religions of people live together in peace and harmony. They express their toleration and brothehood towards each other.
