Saliva is a watery fluid secreted by salivary gland it help in the absorption of nutrients from food in mouth and it makes the food wet do it can easy pass through food pipe saliva has enzymes which break down complex sugar in to starch in the mouth only

saliva is a colourless waterless slightly acid fluid produced by 3 pair of saliva gland that contain water salt mucin and enzyme ptyalin and lysosome
