product of a acid base reaction is called a salt.
nature of the salt depends upon the parent acid and base like if the the parent acid is strong then, salt will be acidic and if the parent base is strong then, salt will also be basic in nature if both parent acid and base are strong then salt will be neutral.
eg- NH4NO3 has base NH4OH and acid HNO3 so NH4NH4NO3 will be acidic as the parent acid (hno3) is strong acid
