saturated hydrocarbons are those hydrocarbons which contain C-C only single bonds. unsaturated hydrocarbons are those hydrocarbons which contain C-C multiple bonds.

abhisarikadhital: Unlike saturated hydrocarbons in which all hydrogen atoms and carbon atoms are bonded together with single bonds, unsaturated hydrocarbons have double or even triple bonds between the carbon atoms. ... Alkenes - These unsaturated hydrocarbons are molecules that contain at least one carbon-to-carbon double bond.

Saturated hydrocarbon:The carboncompounds which are joined by single bond

are known as saturated hydrocarbon.alkanes are saturated hydrocarbon.

Unsaturated hydrocarbon:The two adjacent carbon atoms which are joined by double or tripple bond are known as unsaturated hydrocarbon.Alkenes and Alkynes are unsaturated hydrocarbons.
