the method of agitation and protest based on truth and nonviolence was known as Satyagraha.
Champaran
in 1916, Gandhiji travel to Champaran in Bihar to inspire the peasants to struggle against oppressive Indigo planters.
Kheda
in 1916 Gandhiji supported the peasants and Kheda district of Gujarat who are suffering from shortage of food due to crop failure and advise them not to pay revenue tell their demand of its remission was met.
Ahmedabad
in 1918 Gandhiji went to Ahmedabad to organise a Satyagraha movement amongst cotton mill workers.
