Scalar Quantity means it has only magnitude and no direction and vector quantity means that it has both magnitude and direction.Vector quantity has speed

A quantity that has the magnitude as well as direction that quantity is called as vector quantity whereas A quantity that only has the magnitude not has the fixed direction that quantity is called as scalar quantity.
but the speed didn't have the fixed direction as the direction can be changed in speed but the magnitude will be fix so the speed is scalar quantity.
hence the speed is scalar quantity

AMAYTRIPATHI: yeah
bip123: how
AMAYTRIPATHI: thanks dude
AMAYTRIPATHI: i have explained it read it
bip123: y is vector not speed
AMAYTRIPATHI: because it didn't has the fixed direction
AMAYTRIPATHI: the direction can be changed in the speed
AMAYTRIPATHI: where is the velocity is the vector quantity because it has the fixed direction
bip123: ok good
AMAYTRIPATHI: got it!???
