what is scalar quantities


FrangMung: scalar quantities are those which doesnot have any directions and only magnitude vectors quantities have both magnitude as well as directions

The quantities which has only magnitude not

any direction , then this type of quantities is

know as scalar quantity .

eg:-- SPEED , DISTANCE , MASS , VOLUME ...ETC.

Hey!

Scalar quantity are such quantity which has only magnitude! ( No Direction)
Vector quantity are such quantity which require magnitude as well as direction

Examples = Speed!! (Scalar quantity)
velocity ( Vector quantity )
