scalar quantities are such quantities which only have magnitude but now direction.

There are two types of quantities :-
1. Vector quantity 2. Scalar quantity.

Scalar quantity :- are those quantities which only have magnitude (numerical value).
For eg:- speed, volume etc.

Vector quantity :- are those quantities which have magnitude as well as direction.
For eg :- velocity etc.
