Modern era is the era of science.Today, Science is universally dominated . There is hardly any corner of human life, where the light of science has not reached. Science has affected every area of our life. We have to resort to the invention of science for smallest needs and works. Science has brought revolutionary changes in human life and the infinite powers that science has provided to humans are really amazing.

Man has made many inventions in every field of life through his wisdom and strength. Some time before, his imagination was also impossible. Today, the daily routine of human beings comes from science, So, the end also happens with the advancement of science. The power of science has made man the lord of the earth, sea, and sky. Where there was nothing contrary to nature's wrath, there nature has now become a human servant. Science has made human life more tolerable and pleasant.

Many tools to make physical life happy are accessible only with the help of science. Iron, cement is very simple thing for the house, because of science, new machines have been invented, which has got rid of the work of labor as well as the unpleasant work and boasting of the mind. The work that was done over the years, it now ends in a few days. It has not made easy paths in inaccessible valleys, has converted the deserters into a mercury-colored land.

The credit for creditworthy change in the field of agriculture is also the science. The farm which was used to plow in the months of the solution, is now taken in a few days by the tractor. New and advanced seeds have been developed in the agricultural research centers, which has increased manifold. With the help of machines, it is easy to work from sowing seeds to grinding grains.

Science's achievements in the field of medical are also not low. With the help of Science, Now , diseases are under the control of humans. We Don't know how many medical methods like X-ray , surgery are proving to be a very useful boon for human life. With the transplantation of many important organs such as heart, kidney, eyes etc., man is getting new life. Man has been completely emancipated from infectious diseases such as smallpox, cholera, Malaria .

In the field of traffic - the distances of the earth were reduced by the instruments of science at the three levels of water, land and sky. From one end of the Earth to the other end can be reached in a short time.

Humans have reached the planet Mars by the grace of science.

In the area of movement, the invention of motor vehicles, trains and airplanes has reduced the distance and time in the sea to the sea. Thanks to the progress of telecommunication, the conversation with thousands of miles away from home is done in minutes and Doordarshan has made even more amazing. People at the other end can see the incident occurring at one end of the world.

But , science on one hand is boon for us and on other hand, it is becoming curse too . The heart trembles with the imagination of the devastating nature of science. We have seen the consequences of misuse of science in the formation of destructive weapons in the last two world wars. Japan's Nagasaki and Hiroshima two cities were killed in a few minutes by the atom bomb. Fast-moving trajectors were used in the Iraqi war. Today the war is fought with automatic weapons. In today's world, such weapons and ammunition exist in such a way that if unfortunately happens in World War IIl, human society will be annihilated. Scientific progress is the credit for industrial development, but guilty of pollution of the environment is also science. In this way it is a curse on the subversive side of science.

Science is a curse or boon its decision depends on us. It depends on our discretion that we use scientific inventions for public welfare or misuse it for public purpose. Just like a knife killer's death becomes dormant and the tool of life in the hands of a doctor, in the same way is also science. The prudent use of science is boon, but discreet misuse curse. Science itself is boon nor curse.

In this context Julian Huxley's words come to mind - we have learned to fly in the sky like a bird and to swim under water like a fish, but there is still to learn the art of living like a true man on earth.
