Answer
Scientific forestry is the system of cutting down trees of a forest which had a lot of different types of trees. This system was intoduced by Dietrich Brandis. In the place of the trees that had been cut down, only one type of tree was planted and grown in straight rows. Forest officials surveyed the forests, estimated the area under different types of trees, and make working plans for forest management. They planned how much of the plantation area to cut every year. The area cut was to be replanted, so it was ready to be cut again in few years.
