Scrotum is a pouch like structure in which testies descend down from the abdominal cavity.It acts as a thermoregulator and maintains the low temperature of testies i.e. 2-2.5 degree lower than the body temperature which is required for the sperm formation.

1.Scrotum is a sac like structure present in male human beings which is outside just below the abdominal cavity.
2.It is required by us because testis which are inside scrotum require a temperature 2.5°C lower than body temperature for spermatogenesis i.e making sperms.
