secondary cells are those cells in which it is possible to restore electrical energy from the chemicals present in the cell once it has been used for sometime. this is done by flowing current in the cell in opposite direction it means from positive terminal to negative terminal. this process is called charging of the cell and the cell is called secondary cell.
