Secondary treatment or biological treatment of water is=>

1)It is the methord of treatment in which the water is purified by using a sewage treatment plant with physical phase separation.

2)It is used to remove the settled waste and some organic compounds that are either mixed or suspended in the water.

3)SEWAGE TREATMENT actually includes 3 process=>

a) Primary Treatment

b) Secondary Treatment

c)Tertiary treatment

4)Microbial decomposition is used to remove the nutrients or solids from water.

The treatment uses natural biological process.

5)These microbes consists of protozoa and bacteria which is called FLOC.
