☛ What is Secretion ?

☛ In this stage the most important thing happen.

☛ Till now high amount of molecules have been reabsorbed.

☛ So the urine inside of the nephron, become hypotonic or very less concentrated.

☛ So to increase the concentration of the urine, DCT secrete some ions into the urine, like potassium ions.

☛ By this process the ions get added with the urine and the concentration of urine get increased.

☛ By this process, now the urine is not found in the hypotonic condition.
