Secular literature is any literature which is not rooted in religious beliefs, practices and traditions. Any story which has no significant basis in any religion can be called secular literature

The arthashastra,indika,harshacharithra,stories from jatakas and the panchatantra,the works of kalidasa and the accounts of foriegn travellers are the important secualr works of this periods.

The sangam literature also belongs to this category. secular literature means which tells abt political,social and economic conditions
