Secularism:

Secularism is a belief system that rejects religion, or the belief that religion should not be part of the affairs of the state or part of public education.

Challenges before secularism:

• Communalism : It is the biggest challenge faced by the secularism. It can be defined just opposite of secularism. Communalism is a belief in which people of one religion consider themselves superior then other.
• Lack of awareness : Lack of awareness among citizens can also be a challenge faced by the practice of secularism. People having lack awareness can easily be misguided by any "Religious Leaders".
• Vote Bank in Politics : Political parties used the religion as their vote bank. They often give priority to one religion for making that particular religion their, vote banks.
