\textbf{Secularism (धर्मनिरपेक्षता)} It is a political identity refers to not maintaining faith in any religion. But, Indian constitution defines it is an another way. According to the constitution of India " Secularism refers to give equal respect to all the religions and to promote all the religions equally."



\textbf{Challenges before the practice}\textbf{ of secularism are :}


◾ Communalism : It is the biggest challenge faced by the secularism. It can be defined just opposite of secularism. Communalism is a belief in which people of one religion consider themselves superior then other.


◾ Lack of awareness : Lack of awareness among citizens can also be a challenge faced by the practice of secularism. People having lack awareness can easily be misguided by any "Religious Leaders".


◾ Vote Bank in Politics : Political parties used the religion as their vote bank. They often give priority to one religion for making that particular religion their, Vote\:Bank.
