- there is no official religion for the country. All religions are treated equally.
- constitution gives the freedom to individuals and communities to profess , propagate and practice any religion or not to follow any.
- the constitution prohibits the discrimination on the basis of religion.
- to ensure the quality within the religious communities, constitution allows the intervention of the state in matters of religion.
