Secularism (धर्म निरपेक्षता) means to refuse promotion of any special religion. In Indian constitution secular is not defined as refuse to promote of any special religion but it is defined as giving equal respect to all religions.
In a democracy all people are equal and this could not be achieved with secularism. Secularism also holds a nation and helps in maintaining peace in a country....
