Answer:

Sedimentation And Dacantation !!

Sometimes impurities are like dust and mud can not be separated by hand. You have seen sometimes "Dal" and "Rice" soaked in water and the dirt often dissolves in water or collects at the top while cereal grains sink down.

The process of heavier component sinking down in water is Called Sedimentation.

The water with the dissolved and suspended impurities in removed by tilting the utensil.

The Process of removing the impurities in this way is called Decantation.

This process is also used to make dirty water clean. Sandy water is filled in a container and left undisturbed. The Heavier particles of sand are sedimented.

The clean water from top is decanted Thus this process is used to separate immiscible Liquids.
