The process in which the water is kept in a vasel and leave undisturbed for some time..... After some time all the impurities of water get settled down at the bottom is know as sedimentation It is used for cleaning water we can try it in home also

Sedimentation is a physical process in which we use gravity to separate the solid particles from the water.It is used to purify water and also for grit removal and to make the water clean and fresh.
