After fertilization ovules develop into seed i.e. repiend ovules is known as seed. All flowering plants bear seed. seed is a miniature palnt which enclosed an inactive or dormat embryo.
Under suitable condition, embryo becomes active and terminates to give rise to an adult plant.

1. Dicotyledons:- outermost of a seed is the seed coat which has 2 layer's.
