hi

They are 2 major types of seeds they are:

The gymnosperms and angiosperms.

Angiosperms, also called flowering plants, have seeds that are enclosed within an ovary.

Where as gymnosperms have no flowers or fruits, and have unenclosed or “naked” seeds on the surface of scales or leaves. Gymnosperm seeds are often configured as cones.

REPRODUCTION DIFFERENCE is:

In ANGIOSPERMS, the female gametophyte in the ovule exists in an enclosed structure, the ovary.

In GYMNOSPERMS, the female gametophyte is present on exposed bracts of the female cone and is not enclosed in an ovary.

hope it helps!!
