Dispersion of a seed is a natural phenomenon of moving seeds away from the parent plant

It is very necessary and useful process because if the seeds just fall near the parent plant it will compete for water, minerals, sunlight, carbon dioxide etc and it will lead to hampered growth of plants

Seed dispersion can take place through natural agents like wind(dandelion), water(coconut), pod burst(okra and peas) etc

seed dispersal is the process in which the seed pod bursts so that the seeds get scattered in all the directions.

There is a need of seed dispersal so that the plant species should be spread all around and should be maintained.
