Selective breeding is done to improve the genetic qualities of the particular spices which the breeder want to improve. It is very important to improve the quality of an spices by cross breeding it with a much better and healthy breed , it removes the diseases which were genetically effecting its growth and health and slowly the poor species upgrade into a improved version of it to a best species to which we can harvest and gain profit.
