HEY THERE...........
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER............

☜☆☞ When a coil is given voltage supply, Flux will be induced on that coil. This Flux will make contact with the same coil, altering its inductance. It is known as self induction
Flux lines will be around the whole coil as well as around individual turn.
SELF INDUCTANCE L =NQ/I
N - no of turns
Q - Flux linking the coil
I - current through the coil

✯Self induction is the property of a coil by virtue of which the coil opposes any change in strength of current flowing through it by inducing an e.m.f in itself .for this reason self induction is also called as inertia of electricity.

We know that ,

Ø= L I if I = 1 unit then,

Ø = L or L = ø

Where L = co-efficient of self induction ø =magnetic flux

Hence co- efficient of self induction of coil is numerically equal to amount of magnetic flux linked with coil when unit current flows through the coil.
______
♦ unit of co -efficient of self induction (L):--
It is measured in henry in SI system of units

From relation , ø = L I ; L =ø/I
If I = 1 Ampere and ø=  1 weber then L = 1 henry .hence co - efficient of self induction will be one henry if a total magnetic flux linked with coil is one weber when a current of one ampere flows through it
