A SEMI PERMEABLE MEMBRANE IS A MEMBRANE PRESENT IN CELL WHICH ALLOW ONLY SOME SPECIFIC SUBSTANCES TO PASS THROUGH IT.

A membrane which does not allow all substance sto pass through itself, but let only important ions pass is called as a semibpermeable membrane.
It is also called selectively permiable membrane.
Example is plasma membrane of plants and animals, its semipermeable.
