Sericulture:- By the process of rearing on large commercial scale silk is produced that Process of production silk is known as sericulture.

  • => Karnataka (in Mysore city) is the state which produces silk most in India.

  • 1. Fungal disease:- Gill rot is most common fungal disease which is seen in carps.

  • 2. Bacterial diseases:- Some bacterial disease like Fin rot, Tail rot, Dropsy etc. are seen till now in carps.
