hey mate here is ur answer
In mathematics, a set A is a subset of a set B, or equivalently B is a superset of A, if A is "contained" inside B, that is, all elements of A are also elements of B. A and B may coincide. The relationship of one set being a subset of another is called inclusion or sometimes containment.

I will explain this with an example first
let there be a set A which contains 1 to 5 numbers
A = { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5}
now, there is another set B which contains only 2 and 3
B = { 2, 3}
so for set A and B you can say that set B is a subset of set A
____________
subset is a part of a set ( in simple language)
