Alternatively, we can define by a set by describing properties that it's elements should satisfy.

We use the notation { x=A|P(x) }

To define the set as the set of elements ,x.

In A such that x satisfy properties P.

e.g. { x |x is a prime number and x =1000}

{x|x is a real number and -2 < x< 5}
