by help of chromosomes we can do it.

if it is xx chromosome then its a girl

if its xy chromosome then its a boy

the sex of a baby to be born is decided at the moment the egg cell of woman( mother) gets fertilised by the sperm of man( father) and pregnancy occurs. this is bcoz the sex of baby is present in the sex chromosomes which are in the nucleus of the fertilised egg called zygote. if the zygote is xx then it is a girl and if it is xy then it is a boy...
