Sex ratio of a country is the number of females per thousand males.
The sex ratio is considered as an important social indicator because if in this ratio the number of female is more than it is a good thing. It shows that the country has a good female culture.
In India the sex ratio is less. For a developed country it is important to see all the factors like sex ratio, sources ,etc.... therefore it is a social indicator also.

Sex ratio is defined as the number of females per 1000 males in the population. This information is an important social indicator to measure the extent of equality between males and females in a society at a given time.
