Ascaris is a genus of parasitic nematode worms known as the "small intestinal round worms".The female and male sexes are separated in ascaris and these round worms also show sexual dimorphism. males are smaller than females and they have a curved tail with one pre and post anal papillae, cloaca and a pair of spicules. The gonads are long tubular and coiled. gonads are attached at the genital pore in females and at the cloaca in male worms.
