Sexual reproduction is the form of reproduction where two parents of same species mate to produce genetically similar offsprings.

Basic events:

1. Pre fertilization

It includes gamete formation and gamete transfer

2. Fertilisation

Fusion of male and female gametes .

3. Post fertilisation
