What is shadow? How does it forms,,

Shadow are formed when an opaque object block a source of light...it is always black in colour ...it only tells outlines of the object not the details ....it doesn't undergoes to the lateral inversion...

Shadow is product of the object , when light fall on an opaque object it forms shadow . It can be bigger than object or smaller then object or of same size only as the light falls on it
