CH4 (Methane) is a compound where carbon has four sigma bonds with four hydrogen atoms and hence has sp3 hybridisation. This corresponds to a Tetrahedral geometrical shape having a bond angle 109.5° . In CH4 carbon is sp3 hybridised, thus H-C-H bond angle is 109 degree 28 minutes and it's geometry is tetrahedral.
