shifting activation is a form of Agriculture in which a plotof land is cleared by felling the trees and burning them. the ashes are then mixed with soil and crops a grown. After sometime ,the land is abandoned and the famers move to different place...

It is a practice in which part of the forest are cut and burn in rotation seeds are sown in the ashes after the first monsoon rains and the crops harvested by October November every year
