shifting cultivation is a type of cultivation in which farmers settle to grow the useful crops such as grain ,rice and Maize e.t.c and after sometime when the fertility of the soil is lost the farmer lives the place and cultivate the crops at another place .It was banned by the European parliament because it began to be done on a large scale and all the places losted it's fertility
