SHIFTING CULTIVATION IS A TYPE FARMING IN WHICH FOREST LANDS ARE CLEARED TO GROW CROPS .
ONCE THE SOIL OF THAT PARTICULAR CLEARED LAND BECOMES INFERTILE THE FARMERS TO THE NEXT SITE .
THIS IS NOT ADVISABLE BECAUSE CUTTING DOWN AND BURNING OF TREES LEADS TO MAJOR PROBLEMS LIKE DEFORESTATION, LANDSLIDES, GLOBAL WARMING ,SOIL EROSION ,HABITAT DESTRUCTION E.T.C.
