What is shifting cultivation? Why is it not advisable?

Hey.. ! shifting cultivation is a type of cultivation in which land will change aftr some duration.. it is not aadvisable Bcoz. difforestation is occure due to this.:)

It is not advisable to use it because it makes the land barren which is a loss in agriculture. shifting cultivation or jhooming is a type of cultivation in which the land or field area are burnt and left over after the crops has been cut off .
