Simon Commission had been laid out in the Government of India Act of 1990 that after 10 years a Commission would come to India to look into the reforms introduced by it . Thus, a seven member British Commission headed by Sir John Simon was sent to India in 1928 .This was the Simon Commission and it was boycotted by the Congress as it had no Indian members.
