Simon commision

•It was a commision which was appointed by the British fir the checking and altering of any changes that were required in Indian constitution(which was made by Britishers itslef when they were ruling over the country).

•Commision was headed by Sir John Simon i.e. commisson got this name.

•It was Boycotted due to the reason that all its member(commission's member) were Britishers and not even a single Indian was included, that is why people didn't want this commission to work and gave the slogans like SIMON GO BACK in protest when Sir John Simon came to India for supervision.

The Simon Commission was boycotted because-:

1. There was no Indian member included in this Simon Commission. All the members were Britishers.

2. It was formed to look into the constitution of India which was opposed by the Indians.

Thus, it was not welcomed ʙy ᴛʜᴇ ɪɴᴅɪᴀɴ
