Answers
The skull is a bony structure that forms the head in vertebrates. It supports the structures of the face and provides a protective cavity for the brain. The skull is composed of two parts: the cranium and the mandible.
The skull's main purposes is to protect the brain, store the eyes, and it also is attached to the mandible by the mandibular notch. This helps for us to be able to speak and eat food. The skull has a lot of foramen and fossas to help house the nerves for the different systems of our body.
During movement, the synovial fluid held in the cartilage is squeezed out mechanically to maintain a layer of fluid on the cartilage surface (so-called weeping lubrication). The functions of the synovial fluid include: reduction of friction — synovial fluid lubricates the articulating joints.
Skull is a bone framework enclosing the brain of a vertebrate; the skeleton of a person's or animal's head.
functions are ,
1.To protect the brain of an animal
2. It supports the structures of the face.
Major function of synovial fluid:
The bones of a synovial joint are covered by a layer of hyaline cartilage that lines the epiphyses of joint ends of bone with a smooth, slippery surface that does not bind them together. This articular cartilage functions to absorb shock and reduce friction during movement.
