slash and burn agriculture means clearing a pariticular land area and bringing it under agriculture.this type of agriculture is mainly done in forest.first they whll clear(slash) the trees and residue will be burnt and the cleared land will be under agriculture.this done in the forest where land is fertile.normally,tribal people are doing this type of agriculture.
