✿ Slash and burn agriculture is a method in which forest are cut down and burnt to clear land for cultivation.
✿ The land is obtained is fertile and cultivation is practiced on it for few years before it is left for regeneration of vegetation and people move to other place for cultivate.
✿ This is part of shifting Agriculture.
✿ This is a wasteful method of agriculture which results deforestation and pollution. Another name of this agriculture is postral Agriculture.
