Slime was a toy product manufactured by Mattel, sold in a plastic trash can and introduced in February 1976. It consisted of a non-toxic viscous, squishy and oozy green or other color material made primarily from guar gum.

mattel is the only one and only country in which the slime was invented , slime is regularly made using contact lens solution , food colouring and glue which is mostly made at home , there are different types of slime - barrel slime , butter slime , 3 am slime , etc
