➡Jejunam :- It is part next to the duodenum.

➡Ileum :- ▪It is the longest part of the small intestine.

▪Inner lining of the small intestine is produced into a number of finger - like projection called villi.

The small intestine is about 20 feet long and about an inch in diameter. Its job is to absorb most of the nutrients from what we eat and drink. Velvety tissues lines the small intestine which is devided into :- deodenum, jejunum and ileum.

Functions of small intestine :-

1) it is the place of complete digestion of food

2) here is 90% of digestion of food occur

3) 10% taking in the stomach in large intestine

4) its main function to absorb the minerals and nutrients
