The most popular giant and cute panda's are mostly found in South Central China. These Panda's live for almost 20 years. Panda's are basically owned by the Chinese Government. It's impossible for us to grow a panda as a pet.

Once it was found out that, a mother panda mistakenly crushed it's own baby with its giant leg. Giant panda's are basically herbivores.  A normal new born panda is 1 / 900th the size of its mother. In a day, Panda's spend 2 to 3 hours of time to sleep and 3 to 4 hours of time to eat.

Coming to the question, the most unusual thing in panda's is that they have an unusual paw with a thumb which is used to catch a bamboo stick and eat it.
